The Board
Ann McKay, President

Ann McKay RN-BC, MA HNB-BC, HWNC-BC, DHM, CCH, has over thirty years experience as an RN, educator and homeopath. She is board certified as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse, RN-BC; as a Holistic Nurse, HNB-BC; Certified Classical Homeopath, CCH, and Health and Wellness Nurse Coach, HWNC-BC.

Currently, Ann serves as President for the CHC with a passion for homeopathy that includes an initiative for accreditation for the CHC through the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). During her tenure she has been instrumental in completing the first CHC Job Analysis Survey and implementing a computerized application and examination process.

Ann has served as faculty member and Clinical Supervisor for various colleges and homeopathic schools and continues to work with other CCH practitioners on their difficult cases. She has a thriving homeopathic private practice in Providence, Rhode Island.

Cindy Chrisman,  Director

While pursuing a family practice in New England, Cindy has over the last ten years as a clinical supervisor also been committed to the professional growth of the practitioner.  She has encouraged every classical homeopath she knows to obtain their CCH certification. She knows first-hand the personal and professional benefits of joining a movement that solidifies our unity and integrity. The CHC has a successful track record in the national growth of the profession and she is honored for the opportunity to give back as we forge ahead together. Cindy believes every CCH holder has a unique contribution to make to this organization.  As a member of the Board and chair of the Professional Development Committee, Cindy urges you to consider applying yourself to our cause in whatever way you can.  It may be a gift you give to yourself.

Debra Sachs, Treasurer

Debra Sachs, MS, has a broad background from statistics to database programming to medical/technical writing to team facilitation and leadership. In addition to volunteering her time as the CHC Treasurer, as well as the Website and Database Administrator, she is also the public member on the CHC Board.

Debra has been exposed to homeopathy throughout her adult life and feels strongly that the profession be considered a mainstream healthcare option.

Samantha Conboy, Vice President

Samantha Conboy, CCH, M.A. is a nationally certified classical homeopath with 8 years of clinical experience. She graduated from a 3 year program at the Homeopathic Academy of Southern California. Her main goal in practicing homeopathy is to help people feel better. She loves helping women with hormonal, digestive or urinary concerns.

Prior to her homeopathic training, Samantha completed a Masters of Arts in Educational Technology from San Diego State. She also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Santa Clara University.

Martha DeMarco, Secretary

Martha DeMarco, CCH, RS Hom (NA), C. HP, TFT-Adv is a certified classical homeopath, she graduated with honors from the Teleosis Homeopathic Collaborative, Professional Program in 2012 and is a 1984 graduate of Skidmore College, where she earned a BA in English. She is certified by Free and Healthy Children International to supervise families who choose homeoprophylaxis for their children.

Martha holds the credential TFT-Adv. Thought field therapy is an energy psychology therapy that uses “tapping” to activate energy meridians in the body, and was developed over 40 years ago by Martha’s father, Dr. Roger J. Callahan, PhD.

Martha currently practices in the offices of Integrative Acupuncture and Massage in Norwell, MA . In addition to serving on the board of directors of the Council for Homeopathic Certification, Martha is a member of the National Center for Homeopathy, the North American Society of Homeopaths, and Free and Healthy Children, International.

Sheela Porter-Smith, Director

Sheela Porter-Smith, MSN, CCH. DHM is a practicing Nurse-Midwife/Family Nurse Practitioner who integrates Homeopathy into her practice with women and the general public. She has been using Homeopathy for over 30 years. Living in a rural area, she has experienced the resurgence of homeopathy on a grass roots level.

Sheela is passionate about the need to foster communication within the homeopathic community while at the same time proving its validity and safety to the larger Medical Community. It is through Certification that Homeopathy will remain strong.


Noel Peterson, Director

Noel Peterson, MBA, CCH is a nationally certified classical homeopath. He obtained his homeopathy training from the 4-year program offered at Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy in Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated in 2009. Noel then opened his professional practice in Austin, Texas in 2010. He is also certified by Free and Healthy Children International as a Supervisor for the Homeoprophylaxis program.

Noel believes in helping to make homeopathy more mainstream. To help further fulfill this goal, he obtained an Executive MBA in Healthcare Administration from Baylor University, and graduated in 2016.

In addition to serving on the Board of Directors for the Council on Homeopathic Certification, Noel is a past board member for the Minnesota Homeopathic Association and is a current professional member of the Texas Society of Homeopathy and the American College of Healthcare Executives. Noel is a published author in national homeopathic journals and natural health publications in the Austin, Texas area.

Dr. Susana A. Galle, Director

Dr. Susana A. Galle, Director of The Body-Mind Center in Washington, DC, is a licensed professional practicing integrative care. She has four decades of clinical experience, also having co-authored books and published articles in peer-reviewed journals. She specializes in psychosomatics, and is qualified to practice several health professions. Dr. Galle works within a psychotherapeutic matrix that cultivates the doctor/patient relationship. She has a biopsychosocial and energetic model of health, with clients as active participants in the restoration of their own health, mental and physical.

Dr. Galle is a passionate advocate of homeopathy, which she views as a major catalyst of the healing process. She supports homeopathic education and practice within all health professions, as well as professional homeopathy. 

Dr Sheetal Tiwari, Director

Dr Sheetal Tiwari BHMS, CCH, CCYE is a homeopathic physician. After an intense training for 5 and 1/2 years she graduated in homeopathic medicine with first class from University of Maharashtra, India. She has been a Student of Dr. Farokh Master. She has flourished her classical homeopathic practice in Cleveland,Ohio. She is a board certified classical homeopath with 6 years of clinical experience.

She also has an expertise training in traditional yogic practice. 

Dr Sheetal is a strong promoter of classical homeopathy.She has a vision for one standard in homeopathic certification globally for maintaining the integrity and essence of classical homeopathic practice.
